Top working a citrus tree

I helped a friend change four mandelo trees into satsuma trees recently.  The mandelo fruits are unsalable.  My friend has a satsuma grove of 125 trees in Orange, TX.  A mandelo is a kind of low quality grapefruit like fruit.  It is a cross of a mandarin and a pummelo.  After all the limbs had been cut about 2 feet from the ground, I did Texas bark grafts and bark grafts on them.
