Hanging Graft

I use this graft when the bark is not slipping

Make one upper cut and leave flap

Cut off part of the flap

side view                                        top view

Cut off bud, note the top cut is at a 45 angle

Insert bud into upper cut

Line up bud, it is stuck under the flap

Wrap the bud

Leave the bud wrapped 6 weeks before forcing.
